For this art activity we were asked to rip tissue paper to create a night sky scene. We were able to choose any colors we wanted to fill the whole. Once the tissue paper is glued to the paper we were given a modge podge substance to put over our whole sheet of paper. Next, we cut out a silhouette of a chosen scene. The scene was then glued to the bottom of our scene.
An extension activity would be to have students write a paper about their artwork. The paper would have the students explain what their inspiration for the project was. The paper would then be displayed with their artwork.
